Ben Neil, P.Eng.
Over ten years experience engineering, testing, and manufacturing specialty performance rated doors and frames for the construction industry. With degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Computing Technology, Ben has a passion for automation and efficiency. He has played a key role in the creation and development of parametric CAD and software systems used to organize and automate engineering, project management, and manufacturing.
Having excelled at his engineering and leadership roles, Ben is continually seeking new challenges. He is passionate about organizing people and processes, environmental consciousness, efficiency, systems, automation, and enjoys designing and creating.

Design specialty door and frame assemblies with acoustic, fire, EM shielding, bullet, and blast resistant properties using CAD and mathematical analysis software.
Design and manufacture automated door cycle tester that successfully cycled multiple doors to 1,000,000 cycles.
Design and build an Ambico-first electronic controlled pneumatic door sealing system. Provide site supervision of the installation and acoustic testing, successfully achieving the customers required acoustic rating.
Team lead, responsible for hiring, supervising, and mentoring my team members.
Work directly with internationally recognized testing laboratories such as UL, ITS, and NRC to test and certify new products.
